    lo ppl, ok im getttin a bit tired of my 1.2, and i bin lookin on autotrader,and the GSi's look very nice indeed! Would it be possible for me to get insured on one and not get raped heavily if i do? i was thinkin of doin it after me 19th in may? i know this has come up many time b4 but ur advice would be much appreciated!     no points! live in Stevenage in Hertfordshire! Not to sure about previous claims as im under me dads name atm and it got nicked a few months back and insurance paid for the repair! Is it possbile to phone round for quotes on a car i havent got? sorry neva done it b4! :D

    yeah just give em a reg number of a gsi out of auto trader or something. just so theyve got something to go off.

    Ive got pass plus and even tho there are companies that offer up to 30% discount with it...ive never used it. You will tend to find those who do take it are more expensive any way.

    Pass plus, security, engine mods, body mods etc will vary the price with each insurance company. The only way you will know how much it'll cost is to shop around. Bounce quotes of each insurance company cos at the end of the day they want your money.

    you don't have to give them a reg. no.
    Just say, a vauxhall nova GSi, 1.6 engine,
    and whatever has been done to it, its not compulsory to have a reg, they should all have a car database.
