you mean to add metal to the port prior to shaping it??

hmmm id think its doable, but with very little in the way of current

im looking for ways to "add" to the intake port. but cant come up with a non welding kind of way

i was just wondering if someone else had done it.

I dont want to tell too much as i may be accused of selling etc,

but the last thing you want to do to a inlet port on a 16 16v is add metal. Ive done it on old pintos before, basically you machine a line to grip to and you can use araldite as there is very little pressure drop in inlet port.

dont worry too much about the "watchfulness" of us.
asking a question isnt selling is it?

hmm araldite should do the trick

ive never heard of anyone doing it to the exhaust side, but im sure you could belt mig ally in. just hoping it dosent shift or distort the head

nah ive done it before on 16vs to fix the porousity prob,

anyhow the reasone imi doing it is to remove the ports for the air injection and the EGR.

If you want i'll post up some pics.. as long as I wont get into trouble
