    Default xe alternator

    do ecotec alternators fit xe's?

    i no they have a multi rib pulley. can i swap this for a single v type pulley

    You'll need to make sure its the same amp rating and mountings. But yes, as the Ecotec is effectively the same engine, you can use the same alternator.
