Default Cav TD saloon with GSi kit + other cav parts

The TD has to go! I bought this a few years back with the intention of using it as a commuter wagon, but in the end I moved house closer to work. So the 25k I intended on doing last year turned into ~5k

First, some pics, starting with the most recent pics of how the car is at the mo:

With the morettes and 'old' wheels on (both listed in the 'spares' below)

    Here's the deal:

    • 1994 Cavalier 1.7 TD saloon, Isuzu engine - dials show 165k
    • Full GSI bodykit - bumpers, tow hook cover, sideskirts, door panels, rear trim, rear lip spoiler
    • Front splitter
    • 6-character reg - M25 ACC. Actually worth more than the car
    • White dials
    • Twin pipe outwardly rolled exhaust
    • 17" (7.5" wide I think) white TSW Hockenheim wheels (possibly replicas, but if they are they're pretty good reps!)
    • 215/40/17 tyres about 6k ago and still like new tread
    • Full heated turbo leather interior (fronts are tatty but meh)
    • Blacked headlights
    • Additional in-boot lighting - which actually works really well
    • Lowered (Errrrmmmmm 40-60mm? no idea)
    • Rear disc beam (new discs & pads just fitted for MOT)
    • 256mm ATE front brakes
    • Towbar
    • Remote Central locking and toad immobiliser
    • Front electric windows
    • New radiator, expansion tank & water pump fitted October 2011
    • New fuel tank fitted March 2012
    • New fuel filter and pick up pipe (the old one had snapped?! ) fitted March 2012
    • New alternator and charge relay fitted April 2013
    • Tax til September 2013 but I may have to SORN it soon due to insurance expiring.
    • MOT til Dec 2013
    • Clutch will probably need changing soon, as its got a bit of slip at full throttle, but have one in the spares below which I can include for the right price.
    • No audio - I've removed it as that will be going back into the Nova. Wiring for the head unit is all there though so you can drop another one in no problem, standard speakers are in too.

It's a workhorse - don't expect it to be 'mint', far from it. But as you can see from the pics it looks the part, its comfy, a good size, goes well, and can easily get 50mpg. Previous owner gave it a respray so the paint is ok for its age, its not perfect up close but to quote Ste Porter, its a "10 yard stunner" Its also had a replacement rear arch previously fitted too, the paint is a little thin round it - again up close its noticeable, but not so much further back. There's a slight crease in the OS front wing, but this isn't that noticeable, and the paint is all still intact. Last MOT included £600 worth of welding and new rear brakes so should be good for a while.

Other items that can be included in the sale for the right money:

    • Spare 16" Astra SXi wheels (4 stud, see here)
    • 2x sets of morette headlights - one good +wiring, one for refurb/spares
    • Set of spare headlights (also painted up)
    • H4 HID kit
    • Headlight protectors
    • Scorpion rear box
    • 3-piece clutch kit
    • New/unused full suspension - 40mm springs and uprated dampers
    • New/unused front wishbones (with bushes)
    • New/unused cambelt

Car is located in Bristol, right by the M5. All drivable, if you want to test drive you will need temp insurance - my current insurance has now expired so a 'drive any car' policy won' cover it.

If you want it WITH tax, be quick as due to the insurance expiring I'll have to SORN it very soon.

I've had interest from people locally (anyone on my facebook will know how I'm always moaning when people come up to me in the street and ask to buy it ) but I know a few people on PNG were interested in it as well. Price for the car as is will be £1,000ovno which is what I've been offered by local people but I'd be willing to throw in some of the spares for that.

PM or reply for more info.
