    any one know how a line driver works in a sound system/is it needed etc

    any one running one ?

    why would you need a line driver unless the ice is in a lorry with 50ft of cr*p quality RCA's you dont need one, whats the preout voltage from your headunit? provided its from the last 10 years it should be higher than 2.5v so is good for 10 meters of decent shielded RCA

    just asking thats all and ya i got decent rca leads not cheap autolead ones and got tidy alpine head unit

    yeah you'll be fine then, you wont need a line driver, imho they do nothing useful unless your running some massive lengths in the audio feeds to the amps and tbh they can cause more problems than they solve, what with ground loop issues etc etc
