VX220 Dash Guide
*THIS IS BY NO MEANS A COMPREHENSIVE FITTING/INSTALLATION GUIDE. IT IS MERLEY FOR POINTERS AND HELP*
The following i have simply got from my own installation. The car it went into was an SRi. Therefore it was the mk2 dash wiring. This maybe different from the mk1. Also the SRi has an intergrated car/engine loom.
VX220 Side > Nova side
White/Black > Rev Counter
Green/Black > Blue/Black
Green + Purple > x2 Black
Brown/Blue > Blue/Green
Blue/White > White
Brown/Yellow > Blue/White
Red/Orange > Grey/Green
Green/Blue > Blue
Black + White > Brown
x2 Black/White > Brown/White
Others:
Brown/Blue = ECU Light
Black/Purple = Airbag
Black/Yellow = ABS
Yellow/Grey = Speedo
On the subject of the speedo, you will need a transducer and a pulse converter to make it work. I got mine from www.picbits.co.uk look under the gadgets section.
I know a few others have done this conversion, feel free to add to this.
I will get some pics of mine and abit more detail when i get round to doing the speedo side of things.
