Default *HOW TO* Fit a zx single wiper unit to Nova.

As ive sold a few of these now i thought i best make a fitting guide.
First off remove the nova motor and backing plate along with the wiper arms and linkage underneath.

You may need to remove the heater cover bit but can be refitted afterwords.

Once this is all out the way get your zx linkage and do a trial fit to see were you need to drill the hole to mount it.

This is the only bolt that is used for fitting also the earthing point.

Once the hole has been drilled make sure to bare metal it so that the bolt can make a good contact as this is the earthing point for the motor.
Once your happy with were it is going to sit remove the zx linkage to fit your Nova wiper motor.
    It will fit here.

Then work out were you want the arm to sit by fitting this to the motor.

    Then fit all back in.

Once all back in you will need to extend your wire's to reach the motor.

I did this by getting another bit of loom wile at the breakers yard then soildered them to the cars loom.
I have used a flat blade type with a nova arm.

Once youve had a play around you can work out how to adjust it to have it park were you want to.
It will work as it did with the twin wipers and still have intermitent slow and fast.
It will also work with the washers.

Hope this helps for fitting them yourselfs.

Does it rub on the window screen seal at all? and did the stardard normal wiper blades sit at a funny angle?

Only reason i ask is because im weighing up my options.

Mine doesnt rub and never had any probs with the nova wiper blade. I fitted the flat blade as they work so much better.
