headgasket is well dead! just started it up today, and the engine is full of mayo! should be sorted tomorow hopefully
also decided on aftermarket management and throttle body for the vxr engine, picked it up saturday, very nice and shiny new:D
there strong old beasts. just under the bolts, slid one out and the new one in.....job done
got a new engine to go in tomorrow anyway
probably quicker to swop the engine aswell
Well all went tits up, block is fubared mixed all oil and water in about 10-15 mins and pushed it out the header tank, so to make myself feel better, work has begun on the Nova's timely engine conversion. We did a shufty moving the cars around to get the nova at the back of my mate's (Simon) drive and once we'd finished we got bored so... pics...

And shortly after boredom set in
Plan is to put the VXR engine in place next weekend on an 'F' gearbox to get the position and level, then Ginge can measure up for the O/S engine mount and mock one up at work.
