    Default mk1 to mk2 dash

    hey was wondering if anybody had changed there dash from a mk1 to a mk2 dash. what kind of work is involved wiring wise for the heater switch and hazard switch and any other niggles that will crop up

    thanks mate not as bad as i thought just need plugs for the switches then gsi dash it is

    It can be a bit daunting if the sight of lots of wires scares you, but its pretty straight forward. If you can't find a GSi dash with all the plugs needed, just find another Mk2 in a scrappy and whip the plugs off that.

    Some people seem to have issues with the wiring in that guide, but thats how mine is wired up and it all works 100%. If in doubt, crimp the wires with bullet connectors so its easy to re-do them if needed.
