    Default 1.6 gsi idle adjustment

    is there any way to up the idle on a gsi nova as my mate has fitted a cam and now the tick over is so lumpy it struggles to tick over and it flattens out if u hold it at about 1000 rpm any help cheers

    sounds like it needs the timeing adjusting

    the idel sensor on the throttle body is adjustable just loosen the 2 small screws, and turn it slightly you will hear the idle go up and down,then tighten them up when your happy with the idle...

    had a look at it and the dumb ass had a split in the inlet hose replaced that and it ticks over fine
