I had a flash back when I saw a Nova today that I had good times in all of mine over the years and miss the croaky clutch and spasmodic throttle, even the breakdown companies helping me home on many a night out cruising lol... Ah the memories.
Been doing a lot of cardio alongside my weight training recently, I'm down to 7m 30s a mile now! That's around the time I used to do it 10 years ago!

Cheers, that's my average over a run of 2.3 miles I do. There's a killer up hill bit and my time drops to almost 10 mins for that part lol

Skipping is too 20sec normal pace 20secs double loop/high knees at maximum speed
I can't run on a treadmill it's sole destroying, I get sore shins after about 2 mins on one aswell. Aye it's all about the burn. I can't stand running though lol I only enjoy doing weights but needs must and all that. I'm starting mma training tomorrow so might cut out the running lol

Just pulled the box off and found this on my 106 gti, was convinced i had murdered the gearbox by the manner in which it let go and fact I couldn't get any gears with engine on or off but touch wood it seems to be ok, so happy days :)

The scoring on the pressure plate diaphragm springs from the realise bearing is crazy, only about quarter of a mm if that left on them and bearing is seized solid lol.
bang the springs back in & shove it together... there's miles of life left in it & its plenty good enough for some French thing.... lol lol lol lol

Lol i did consider that when i first saw the springs but its alot more mullered than it looks in the picture, where the spring goes in its bent from the impact of a 7.5k gear change and many many more before it lol. Plus the release bearing is siezed solid lol and with it been only 48 quid for a replacement seems daft to not change it all with the box off.Quote:
