You don't want a spring or turn buckle on there, it's only to tension it then it should be removed

Yeah I like the turnbuckle cos it looks different and makes people think I know what I'm doing!!!! This engine will run a cover though so I'll ditch it.
Darren actually said, once it told him that it was round the wrong way, that he was certain he had the same discussion with someone last time he built an XE and told himself it was that way round!! He's getting old bless him!!
Can't wait for the next bits to be done, all getting a bit un-shonky

The turn buckle is a nice little touch, as you say, good for tensioning, especially when it's down in that chassis leg!!!
