i was trying out my mig welder on a repair panel i had laying around yesterday, blew holes on nearly every weld :(
I would of said no thanks to a free arc welder of any type lol
finding out that aguero is starting for city tonight made me kinda happy lol

you can arc weld thin stuff. you just use 1.6mm rods & a lot of care.
i bought a 240v arc welder many years ago, and its ok for small running repair stuff. we have a 415v oxford one in the workshop, that could build a ship..
