I am confident this is about the only forum where the majority of posters dislike football.
You could reply with "Yeah, cos I am into cars."
So are we though. Man up! lol
*awaits 22 men in shorts chasing pigs bladder and falling over crying comments*

I just see umpty fcuking million football likers that all think they are managers and can do better than the vastly over paid foreigner that screams & shouts like a child at his vastly overpaid mardy immature children.
Iv never known such an anti football forum.i thought all blokes were into it.even my mrs dont moan as much as these lot lol
The fecking Plod!
Just been pulled over and had I stay at the side Of the road as one of the Lil tits thought I needed trade plates with trade insurance! And then said I'm not insured as its trade insurance, both 100% wrong!
He even got a little book out to read!
In the end they gave me a producer as they couldn't find out anything, an got a bollocking from their sarge as they were meant to be picking up his Chinese for tea!
Fecking jumped up plebs!
Had to correct them on many things, and explain to them that I know what I'm on about as I'm older than both of them and have more experience (that didn't go down well) haha
45 mins of bollocks, 1 of them ended up being ok with me but the other pleb was determined to find something wrong, what a penis!
The last 2 pages being filled with that puff game bollox!!!!!! Waste of time, breath, lives, and way too much money.
People get way too passionate about a 90 minute game of overpaid ****ers that try n act hurt for 99% of the game rather than playing football
Not every club employs soft, diving pansies.
Proper football is anything but a puffs game.
There's nowt wrong with enjoying things! I am into cars/cycling/climbing/jetskiing/football (watching and playing/playing basketball, pool, snooker etc. Loads.
Football doesn't rule my life, just as I don't let cars etc.
We enjoy the friendly rivalry and 'banter' that goes along with it. Deal with it.
Forum full of kids who never liked P.E and/or got chosen last or what?! lol lol
i think you'll find that you have just mentioned www.trafficwardens.com/forum
some idiot (who works for us) convinced my brother that our 3 tonne dumper's diesel engine was totally shagged....replacements run at 1500 quid....it was smoking like a papal election & pissing fuel out. so i steam cleaned it.... found the 2 leak off pipes that were split, one by the above idiot....then replaced them for £4. i also readjusted the throttle & stop controls, and it doesn't smoke anymore.
feck off.. it was a social comment, and not some 70's joke, which somehow managed to predate the internet by a couple of decades......
football is loved by billions of people... anyone can have a kick about.
hatred of football comes in many forms. getting picked last & stuck in defence, or even worse, in goal, just cos the lads who the teacher has chosen as captains have put their mates in all the best positions is one of them. i was fairly short and scrawny as a kid & our school had a full size adult pitch ffs...and hated it with a passion
in later life, getting annoyed at the premiership sucking the money out of the game & watching over ambitious clubs self destruct in a vain attempt to get there is fairly depressing, especially if it is your local team... i live between leicester & coventry, its a pretty ropey outlook for footy fans.
then having a national team that simply can't manage to get some of the world's best players to play as a team is enough to make any rational person lose faith in the sport.
Tbh I hate most sports that doesn't involve fuel.
I'd rather smell petrol fumes than sweaty balls
I played right back or right wing by choice.
Blame Sky for destroying the game we love. Since the formation of the Premier League, it has all been going down hill.
Someone needs to remind them that football existed before them and 1992.
We don't have it easy either. I follow a massive club, historically, and we have been starved of any significant silverware since nine years before I was born.
I have seen them relegated four times too. Three of which I vividly remember.
Sky-boys long for the day their club is bought as a play thing by oil-rich Arabs. I want nothing of the sort.
IMO, my club tries hard to stay accessible to those who help it exist, us. So many clubs have sold their souls, which is a shame.
MOTD and TFLS show shortly. I wouldn't turn on BBC1 after 22:20, maddog. lol
Football = yawn bored, if you cant race it, or take it to bed, then whats the point :p
Never liked PE at school, as it involved usually getting wet and muddy on the school field, and there werent any mountain bikes to be seen, nowt down for that lol
I worry that you take90's mountain bikes to bed. :|
Some good matches on today btw. :)
More PL games than yesterday.
And thats not counting a couple of sets of suspension forks and various spares and parts im collecting for the marin build, and my second kona downstairs in the hall and a newly acquired 1996 carrera aswell lol
Lmfao @ bike-curious, thats not a bad one haha :d
Spud, sack off all them old bikes and buy a modern one, they ride so much better
bird $hit on my nova again!!!!! :witch:there must be somthing in autoglym that attracts them, ive washed it 3 times this week
The problem with with modern cars is they have been overcomplicated with modern electrics and emissions systems. The weight of vehicles has increased due to the aforementioned electrics and emissions components plus tons of safety equipment. This, plus many other things like cars being designed by computers making them all look alike has made the modern mass produced car very boring.
Bikes don't really suffer this problem. The only emissions you have to worry about would be caused by last nights tea. I dont think an airbag and seatbelt would be a great deal of use on a bike. Modern materials being produced cheaper has made the modern bike better and lighter(Thinks back to the Raleigh Lizzard I owned which weighed the same as a Chieftan Tank!). Better brakes and gear systems make the hills more pleasant knowing the chain isn't going to sod off when you are giving it some on the way up the hill and you can stop on the way down. Mind you I suppose that takes away a little of the excitement lol
