Ah nice, but unsure what i'd use it for...
The scuttle cover!
Oh!
Normally i have it flocked...
I do seem to be slacking at adding updates..
Where did i get too? Ah yes, engine running like crap all the time. So only one thing for it... Aftermarket ecu and custom loom.
So out with the old... remove the old loom and started mocking up for a custom loom all hidden away... As i do.
Found out that i can run the coil on plug set up.. Thought why not.
Using Toyota yaris coils...

You need to drill the cam cover for the coils to bolt down too.

Very important bit! You'll need to shave down bits on the cover due to the plugs on the coils...

Due to the COP, the dizzy could be binned off...

Nice work. Notice any differences? Has it got a speed sensor mapped in to aid with traction?
Everything you do to it makes it better and better...
What ECU big man??
It starts on the button and runs so much better, but cant really use it yet.
Thank you Sir.

THis is where bad luck hit.
Car starting smoking. No clue why at the time.
I left T&R very unhappy and very wet. (started to lash down while loading it on the truck)
Mapping was stopped with just the low down useage settings done. So i can move it around on the drive. But thats it.
Steve and Jim at T&R Suggested a few things to look at.
My cam cover main breather was kinked, sorted that but still puffing.
So got a leak down tester to check the rings, all seem ok. Compresion test done, all where the same.
Noticed my dump valve had blow oil out of it...
Took it off to find...

Oh thats alot of oil... About half a liter was sitting in my intercool.
So Dan suggested taking the down pipe off to check the turbo.
There was alot of movement in the hotside.
Turbo stripping going on.

That's where i'm at.
Turbo is off being rebuilt as we speak. Fully back this weekend to rebuild it.
