Todays little update!
-
shame about the run looks good though, it does happen with some paint, can get a bad batch or it was a little moist when spraying, or maybe a bit thick or to soon between coats! but looking goooood!
-
No picture update, but i got a coat of lacquer on the exhaust tunnel, looks fine now.
I've realised i wont have enough time to get the rear bench painted before i go on holiday, and not enough time when i get back before PV (leave next Monday, back 25th) and Ive used all the paint up,so would need to order more.
Might have enough time to get the car back together and in for mot this week if i can get it insured ASAP!
So it's all go go, what with a holiday round the corner, 10 scuttle covers to be made and posted, and a car to finish in a week! lol

Good stuff Scott, hope to see it at PV.
Are you using the standard Avo rear springs? How far wound down are they???
Want to get an idea of how mine will sit as my adjusters have seized, so where it sits will be where it stays lol

Slight update
Ad, yes standard AVO springs mate, and they are half way, hope that helps.
Yesterday i got round to sorting my windscreen washer problem out, the jets were blocked (so i thought) but then i think it might have been also one of the pipes, so anyway i found a lorry blade washer in the garage (think it's something i got from Baxter years ago?)
So i stuck it on, and it works good enough!

Also when i was round my mate mikes at the weekend i realised he had just what i was looking for, the part that separates the air under the dash, so i had that, then couldn't be bothered to take dash apart to fit it, so i cut it in half lol I also made a blank for the center vents, then used gaffer tape to fix it all back together (OK not the best way,but meh!)

I then realised why the "new" heater blower i had was not working, the fuse had gone  this was because the old motor had seized and blown the fuse, so i replaced the fuse and the new motor worked.

I then thought to stop the rain getting back into it and doing the same i would make a cover for it. I drilled a small hole to let water out in the bottom corner.
