Correct, they were only about £20 for the pair.

Loving the bumper. No flashes tho?
Result on the bumper mate , Looks great !
Looking good edd very nice
Iain
I would use vinyl Edd, from my experince painting the flashes will likely bleed past the masking tape making you lose the nice sharp line you desire!
Cheers Iain
Hopefully sorting some vinyl from place in town when I get paid
Spent 3 hours putting the front corner back together after getting Craig to press the bearing in and literally as I did the wheel bolts up it started pissing down ffs lol so havnt been out in it :(
Did manage to find my brand new wiper arms, much better than the chipped ones

Got a few more bits going on tomorrow, Heko wind deflectors, which again id lost for a few weeks lol, rear mudflaps, hopefully not raining
What i was asking dude was did you spray them out the can, or from a gun etc?
Ahh right, I used rattle cans, upol mid grey, got them off ebay
No rain so ive been out in it :)
No problems apart from the engine mount working loose
Done 100 miles tonight, it truely is epic lol
Feeling alot more confident with it now
Craig took a few pics when we were out

Still thinking the back might need to be lower ?
Edd
Looks great mate, I think you should left it have it is mate looks the right height
Defo lower on the back! Photoshop required
stunning dude :thumb:
Definitely needs lowering more on the back.
Looks fantastic dude, but the back reallly needs to be lowered more.
Love it, cars looking well nice edd, maybe a tad lower like everyones said flol
Car looks great Edd, very nice indeed... I suspect you can't lower it much more due to the offset but I still did you a PS to please the masses lol
http://i345.photobucket.com/albums/p...8PHOTOSHOP.jpg
Looks well smart edd ! Can't wait to see it at billing ?
cheers mate, you and Craig are the only ones to say leave it at that height lol
Southie to the rescue lol
thanks mate +rep
im thinking this as well
again i agree lol
cheers Chris
cheers for doing that mate looks loads better like that
it will go lower on the back no problem but the front requires the arch lips rolling, this is being done when i get the rear arch and roof done
cheers Iain, i will be going to Billing if its dry
im now thinking of getting a adjustable rear spring/platform set up that ive been offered new and fitting FK front spring plates that lower the front 10mm, will do the rear first i think
But although it might look better i dont want it on the bumpstops, been there before and its utter crap lol
Edd
Looks spot on Edd. I'm torn on the stickers, I think it looks perfect as it stands, but what's a pov spec 1.3 with stickers without the stickers? lol Glad I don't have to decide if their going on or not.
stickers on, DONT lower it, looks fine how it is edd
At the risk of filling your thread with discussion about lowering, I was thinking only a small amount lower like this to reduce the arch gap, not rim-on-arch stylee. (Open both pics in different tabs and flick between them to gauge how much!)

I love it Edd, but the offset of the wheels annoys me just a little, from a 3/4 angle it looks a little "balanced" on the wheels rather than sitting on them.
Stickers needed too IMO.
Great car
That's more like the level I would go for, cheers for doing the shop :)
Although the one Southie did does look awesome, I bet that low the ride will be crap
I also think the tyre profile might not be helping
Cheers Si, thanks very much. I see what your saying :) I really like the wheels, something different, hopefully when its a bit lower it will look better
Picked up a few bargains for the car this week
Brand new lock set, it is for a early saloon, im confident that I can adapte the boot lock to work with a hatch boot latch
http://i499.photobucket.com/albums/r...6-30203034.jpg
Pretty good for £23.50 delivered :) seeing as had no chance of finding a new set for a early hatchback im happy
Got this as well, Toad immobiliser, new for £19.99 in Halfords sale bin :) needed one fitted for insurance, but I hate wiring :( lol
http://i499.photobucket.com/albums/r...6-30203112.jpg
Won't have time for it to be 100% finished before Billing as don't have time or cash to get the paint work or decals fitted
Edd
Will you need immobilisor fitted by a Thatcham Approved fitter to be insurance approved?
Fit it yourself and get a fitter to inspect it and sign it off
Thats a good idea
Really really really want to drive it again lol didn't help I watched 'Senna' last night, hopefully it will dry up next week
Edd I just gauged the lowering by my old Nova tbh which drove brilliant with the 15's I had on the rear, odd wheels may of helped lol ;)
http://i345.photobucket.com/albums/p...E/IMG_0871.jpg
Verging on PERFECT. !! One of the very best I have ever seen ! Attention to detail and eye for beauty is unreal !! Stickers will make it best nova ever !! Lowering it will also looks the nuts ! Small drop though !! Spot on geez !!
If you need a hand with the immobiliser give me a shout
Edd, how's tricks?? Just out of interest what cage do you have? Can you get rear seats in all though no passenger :)
Ian
Its a Safety Devices cage with fixed diagonal. Rear seat should fit OK
Yeah seats fit fine, not chance of anyone sitting in there tho, kinda pointless really lol
Done 250miles now, took it up the A39 to Watchet other nights, utterly awesome through the bends up there :d
Few issues as mentioned in mechanical tho
whens the stickers going on any ways?
Going to have to pop up once the turbo's home
Getting the paintwork bits done end of August, then decals fitted
Need to sort a few niggly bits this month, need a new FPR as it aint running right, fit new headlining the mrs has made me, sort some centre caps out, and possibily change the colour of the cage
Going to spray the front tow eye and the bit of front valance you can see the same colour as the bumper and fit rear mudflaps
Cor, you still not got yours done yet ? lol almost as slow as me ! lol yeah mate pop on up anytime
Good times Edd will be good to see it with the decals on it
Iain
