That's the thing, I don't want them rolling about lol
So umm, I've been mincing about with a few dumbbell moves a few times a week... Quite low weight (like 4kg each lol), how do I actually gauge what I should be working with?
Depends what your goals are, I usually do 8 reps with most things. If you get to 8 without a struggle increase the weight
Like baz says if you wanna bulk then heavy weight low reps,fitness and cutting lots of reps and lower weight.
i have tomorrow and Saturday training sessions left for this month so il see what iv lost on my analysis Saturday morning.
went to gym tonight and did 10km on treadmill in 48 mins so fitness wise iv improved a lot lol No beer for 4weeks on Saturday (which will be when I next have one) and 4weeks on same day off the fags and I deffo won't be having one!
got a new bike last week aswell so did 22 miles last Saturday night with spud.
Was so nice getting back in to the gym after over a month off.
Did what i would normally with a added 10mile ride.
Killed me. dripping in sweat and every muscle killing me.
Feels good.
Really pushed my legs to day. Then got the mother of all cramps in the middle of my thigh. Took ages to shake it out and stop hurting.
Recently started going the gym regularly again.
After nearly a year of flaking out, only going like once every couple weeks for an hour, I've lost a lot of the progress I made.
Back down to 60kg on bench press and the various exercises I used to do on the cables have rendered my arms and chest useless today haha
I am happy I can still manage a 100kg dead lift, albeit only 4 lifts rather than 3 x set of 8.
Hopefully see steady progress and get back to where I left off.
