i have ran vectra v6 calipers and fiat coupe discs on my old gsi nova, no need for spacers

im well impressed mate.

Close, as the pistons on the outside, and it's the pad thats on the carrier side (part of caliper that uses the sliders) as the offset was not right they were being kept against the inside of the disc,so when the piston side let go,the carrier side would not fully retract etc. :)

EDIT: I guess it could be also down to what pads are used??

The pics show how the offset was before, and how it is now after the spacing.

Thats odd as mine was always fine with that setup with no spacers and i've had a few different makes of pads in too.

Glad to see your working on it again mate. Think you need to buy my satin black GSi bumpers too ;) lol

Not saying you dont know, but you sure yours were Vectra, and not the cav/cali turbo ones?
