Nice project, love that colour ;)
Good stuff Scott, dials look well.
Planning on doing the shows/track days this year? :)
Scott did a hole 1 day out last year for scrw and the calliper stuck.
Im sure he will be out more this year.
When would you want me to get to yours with the trailer lol.
keep up the good work mate.
looks good scott.
i see some of my old handy work there, manifold heat wrapped.
the exhaust system does sound good. you fitted the lsd too?
she's looking sweet mate
Cheers all.
Sean yeah never re-covered the manifold lol (want to change the gash tail trim) and the LSD is in mate.
I might have the chucked the heater blower cover away, if not I’ll fit it or make another (heater blower don’t work yet )
As for callipers, I’ll get on it ASAP! and I want to use it everyday if I could, lack of work = no money = nova no-go!
Passat needs some work doing, so that come's first.
Them plasma dials are really nice looking too! good for anyone who wants a good upgrade, as said I have enough pics/info to do a how to thread.
So next things are oil change, callipers, wiper set up (when it arrives) then wiring odds an sods.
Scott
Calipers off, grease slider bolts, back on, sorted
lol go back a few pages! i sanded them/greased them prior to going out to test it at shaky race way, then found the car was dipping badly between gear changes, hence the 15-15.5 runs :roll:Quote:

I think with your calipers if you remove the pistons, give them a funking good clean up and reinstall them they should be fine. Not sure i would be going near them with grease though as you might be risking the posibility of contaminating the brake fluid.
