What price did you get the Kumhos fitted for Scott? also what size were they?
I bought two tyres from Black circles for £70 delivered then got them fitted at local Hi Q for £20 there 195/45/15's
Sounds like a good price, are they a general tyre?
Make sure you get the KU31s and not the KH31s as they are different
Umm i have just noticed something! might need to order some new tyres...
The backs are showing cords, or they're KH31's? lolQuote:

Kool update Scott,I've been to watch british superbikes at oulton a few times,I think that'd be a mega track to drive!
Hi Scott

that sounds wicked mate :thumb:
Needs a map! then it's finished, not going to spend any real money on it now, would rather put it into the mk1, im kind of broad of this now lol, and it's too fast for the road IMO, if i drove it all the time i would loose my license..
Shame your not trailering it.
I would have asked you to stick that glass in & i could have come up.......................Could have brought my helmet too!!! :)
Well the plan is to come up and stop at Adam's in stoke the night before, on the Friday, so if you want i can bring it and you can collect off me from his?
Scott
If you can bring it could you take it all the way to Oulton or would that be a pain in a*s?
Dont worry if it is.
Come over then & watch you on track Saturday.
Why the silver boot? Or is it a fb?
Kool wrong tyres dude!

pah that's a well high kerb, more anti roll! lol
its always funny when you jack up one corner on the car and 2 other wheels come off the ground too. think it shows you done something right.lol.
Do a "how-to Change a wheel without using a jack" lol
You could tip it back & forth with your little finger.
So i opened the bonnet tonight to do some work to the car, and what was i greeted with??...
First off, some engine coolant has been leaking slowly from the rad, so new one of them i think soon..
But the most horrifying thing was i noticed the engine looked to be sitting on the piss, very low on one side, after investigating more i found that the offside engine mount bolt that goes through the rubber to the engine bracket had rattled the nut loose, almost to the point it was about to come off..
OK so the engine cloud not drop, as the bolt could not come out, but it meant the engine has been moving about the last few times Ive drove it (maybe even at Oulton park?)
So a bit off faffing about and Ive sorted it, with two jacks, a bit of wood, and some lock tight! lol
A proper update soon...
Scott
Thats not what you want when your thrashing it! And its lucky you found it id say not what you want on track days!Quote:

Take note kids, check your own wheel bolts after your car's been to a garage, they can get side tracked and forget things..
I started driving to chimps house once and the gear stick started wandering, 1 bolt just about left in the gearbox mount, found a couple spares chucked em in and arrived right on time because I'd totally forgotten about the clocks going back lol
I had a locking wheel nut come off whilst doing a 3 figure speed on the M54 in my white Nova :( made the loudest bang I have ever heard!!Quote:
