as i said earlier i was up with david earlier, since he droped me of at around 4 ish he went back to his car and started to remove wires etc and get the engine ready to come out, im sure he will update this in his own time or start a new thread as this one is more about let nova than his car now, dc has limited interweb access atm, but he has a clear idea of what needs done and he will proceed the best he can with the help of friends and forum advice, as im local to him ive offered my help as much as possable and im sure others on here will also help through their knowledge of previous conversions, but i must say its a bloody good shell he has, makes me jelous lol
please if possable could we all let this thread get back on topic, after all its supposed to be about the car.

no its not a total mess imo, its disapointing (sp) but i felt the best way forward for dc was to remove the engine and box, clear the full engine bay and get it all painted, whilst the engine is out he can get a good look at what he is working with, if LET NOVA wants to post here i would ask the other members NOT TO WIND HIM UP as he has alot of info that could help dc ie regarding the plumbing on the inlet as its not standard (debilas i think )
as for the issue of parts missing that is a matter for dc and let to sort out
things i noticed today also were the fuel pipes, the feed and return are black and brown? are these upto the job or do they need replaced?
fuel tank- can a spi tank be used witha mpi internal pump ( iirc i saw brownie mention this ) i know this would mean no swirl pot so possable fuel starvation on hard cornering

The spi tank will be fine with mpi pump, they have a tiny swirl pot in the bottom that is enough.
good stuff as finding a nova mpi tank and external pump is not easy up here, the tank he has, has a twist in sender at the rear with a feed and return.
EH? The spi tank would of have the pump in the top.
