box in my old ZR had a "straight cut whine" for a day before i investigated it. found that the filler plug for the oil had fallen out and all the oil was pushed out the hole. refilled the box and sourced a new plug and it was fine.

might see you up there on sunday mate as i fancy getting the nova out for a bit of testing
Sounds good Scott. What did you do to sort the brakes?
Ok Chris, do you have my number? Dave and Christian are going up today, might see them later..
Craig after asking for some advise, everyone said it was more then likely the slide bolts, so instead of taking the calipers off the car (im too lazy for that)
i took the slide bolt's out one at a time from each caliper, cleaned round the seal where it goes into the caliper, and then rubbed the slide bolt slightly with a bit of 150 grit sand paper, and where there was any large digs/burrs i took the edge of with a screwdriver, then just give them loads of copper grease and popped them back in one by one,and hey-presto they work without sticking on after i take my foot of the pedal!

Nice one. Just interested & also for the good of your thread/reference.
Scott-Do the fiat coupe discs fit with using any washers(to space them), and without spigot rings?
Straight onto nova hub???
They fit on "but" i think they could do with some spigot rings, as they are pain in the ass when your taking and putting the wheels back on, you have to make sure to get them right (you cant use the securing screw like on GM disk's) before doing all the bolts back up, other then that there good, wonder if i can get some rings of ebay that will work?Quote:

Yeah i might measure the o/d of the hub,and see what i/d it is i need the spigot to be, but they would need to be very thin, it's about 2mm max when the disk is centralized.
Scott
2mil?
Christ, my spigots wong fit that then Pmsl lol lol
