new tyres

i'm in need of some new tyres and am thinking along the lines of eagle f1's or toyo proxes, has any one used either of these tyres?
from what i've heard the performance is similar, but i was wondering about wear aswell.
i think i'm looking at about ?50 each(195/45/15) does anyone know of any other good tyres with a similar tread pattern

when i bought my car it had Avon's on it and they lasted amazingly well and also worked very well in that size (195/45/15) cant remember what model they are with that tread pattern.

i got some alloys with marshal tyres on which were ok (not in the wet), and iv got some new kumho elite 2's, 195/45/r15. they seem to fit the alloy better (tsw), they work a hell of alot better in the wet and grip better on corners.

dont seem to be wearing as badly as most tyres iv had before aswell.

bloke at garage did them for ?40 each, and said that was an absolute bargain and i belive him :)
