carbon bonnect vents

just spent the day removing the red paint from the bonnet vents i got and now i'm not sure whether to paint the to match the car or leave them carbon. comments

I say paint them black. Carbon on black never looks too good, and most people will just think they're fake anyway lol

I suppose its an each to their own debait again.... I actually think well made carbon looks well against black.... I imagine if you stripped/scraped the paint from them they may be looking rather dull Jeff ? All they need is a good shine up either by an abrasive polish ( farecla G3 ) or have them relacquerd this will in turn make them appear darker and give them their original great shine, Then If you dont like them after that have them painted bodycolour, Thats how I would go about it anyhow. I took some daytime pics today. I hear what peeps are sating about them look fake, No harm in lacquering them and changing my mind later and painting them. i'm wondering whether they can tinted slightly without covering the pattern and lacquered. Any photoshoppers able to do that?
