has any one done a how to thread on these and how easy are they to fit in a mark 1

Use gte ones, gsi are for mk2

the mk1 nova gsi clock plug is different to any mk1 plug for a start, so youd have to chop and change the plugs on your loom, wich is alot of hassle.

also youd have to remove the dash out to fit tem, as the nova mk1 clocks have 3 screw hole lugs popping out of them, and the clocks cannot be fitted from the front because of these.

whereas if you were to fit gte clocks, it would be simply plug & play!
