i curently have a 1.2 nova mk1 manual choke and i have standard carbueretor but with a bolt on k and n air filter but when i go to work in the mornings the car splutters and coughs and stalls evertime i stop at traffic i think this is carb icing does any one no wer i can buy something or make something to solve this?

Just make an 'air feed' from around the exhaust manifold area up to the filter.
The origional airbox had a similar set up.

put the proper air box on and use a k and n element instead?

my old sr used to suffer from the carb freezing, all i did was fit the standard air box for the winter untill i got a set of twin carbs

Best plan is to fit a std airbox and filter, as others have suggested, also maybe she's running lean, I used to suffer from the same problem, but only after @ 40 minutes constant running on my 1.3SR

I have a K&N hot air kit you can have for ?7 posted or ?5 collected from Birmingham, comes with fitting instructions
completely stopped my SR's carb icing
