new driver & modded car companies?

I rang Alan & alan earlier and they gave me a quote of ?3500 fully comp inc. mods. For a j reg 1.2! It has a full 'bodykit', respray in standard colour and sound system etc.. but that quotes mad especially seen as my area code is A. :mad: I was just looking for a rough idea for when i pass my test / am 17, so what other companies specialise in young drivers & modified cars? Also what companies actually pay out for mods if i crash it? I dont want just the value of a standard nova! thanks

I used Elephant when I was 18 with a slightly modified car (lowered, alloys etc) so they may be worth a go.

Elephant/Admiral with parents as second driver is probably your best bet.

Specialists like Sky, Flux/HIC have a minimum age of 19 if thats any use to you. Otherwise you may have to de-mod the car until you can afford it.

Moral of the story, check with insurance before fitting mods!

quinn will most probaly be a good one to try as well mate, most companys wouldnt insure me for some reason but quinn would.
