can i spray them fully black with a clear laquer ove the top and they still work? never used the stuff before.

dont do it mate ive just converted mine back to standard items, looks bit dull round the back in my opinion, other than that you can but a tint laquer from halfrauds about ?15, simple enough to do.

Sorry to hi-jack but I want to tint my rear indicators so there a bit darker. like a brown colour

How would I go about that ?

cant understand why ud want brown but surely ud just tape it off and get a brown laquer?

i have a set of rally type factory black(not spry canned) rear lights they are illegal as standard and therefore would need reflectors on the rear,
i bought these new, and had them on the car for around a month so still like new.

um not to sure mate but i think you can get tinted laquer in like blue red n that from frost? not sure tho. search google for "tinted laquer"

Not a nova but i did these on my old polo using that tinting spray, thats about 3 coats IIRC
Its not legal though, as they dont reflect anymore, but i never got any hassle of police, had them on for over a year :cool:

Folia tec tinting spray.
Any A1 motor stores franchise will stock it.

These have been on two different cars and come through 3 mot's at different places. No one has ever quibbled that they might be too dark. I definately wouldn't go any darker though.
