I used the worlds slowest petrol pump today. Im not kidding, it took nearly 20 minutes to fill the transit up (about 70 quids worth of diesel lol). I froze my nads off!

Surely its not hard to make the things dispence fuel like an aircraft tanker? A quick 10 second squirtage? (yes yes, been there before etc, ha ha ha)

I've been debating wether I could use the lorry ones or not. Those buggers must throw it in.

Yah, and you can lock them open and walk away from it as well, so if it was fecking cold and windy (like today) you can sit in the van lol

I thought you needed a little tool to lock them on.....Oh yeah you do have a little toollol

Intresting fact....Im also known as F1 Pursey. I can also dispense about 12l per sec:D

we have a BP by us, which is a rapid-filler tpe thing for hgv's etc, i fill the tranny up there. takes about 60seconds or so to brim load the tranny.

lol i find most pumps are too fast for my puny hairdresser car... when it clicks out the tank vomits a good blats worth of fuel out and down the side of the car... mmm

Does fuel not stain/burn paint too...

ahhhh so thats why its bubbled down the the GRP lol


i now use a huge wad of towels when filling up and then drop them in the indoor shop bin and whinge about their pumps being too fast lol.

you should be able to select the speed properly at the pump as when filling the astra its too slow lol.

unless every single vx and elise has a blocked breather then no its not blocked as they all do it lol
