Ian, i actually bought redline yesterday and congrats in being featured. :0)
What i was wondering though was, it says you have a 1.6 8v Engine, but in your feature car stats you have a 2.0! What is it? Are you tellin porkies matey?

Oh and another thing, there is 1 bit that loos shoddy (yep - i found 1) The tow bar at the front, did you have your eyes closed whilst you were cuutting the wire mesh? Its a dodgy job, the main piccy really makes it looks bad!

ok congrats again.

cheers

When redline did ians feature he had a 1.6 engine. The 2.0 was fitted after their visit. They do write things 1 1/2 months in advance.

See ya in fast car ian.

hmm? apart from the retrim?
Thats right i did nothing! oops.. forgot about the build up from bare shell, starting with the wiring, underlay, carpets, interior, dash, fitting engine(1.6), running gear, new fuel lines, suspension, brakes, fit rear beam, petrol tank and all the glass! (all with help from mates) All the above was done not by professionals, but in my own garage outside the house! Oh and we also stripped all the bits off the shell b4 hand!
So much for chequebook car!
BAT did the bodywork only, (not my fault i'm not a paintsprayer!) and have more recently done the 2.0 16v conversion. If anyone doesn't believe me about the conversion, there are plenty of people who have seen it, and you could always look at the engine bay pic, below the tech spec on the feature cars page!!!!!!!
and the mesh.. called only having 1 days notice to get car ready for photoshoot, and the hole was normally unseen, as the no. plate covered it, but redline insisted on taking the plate off, and we did'nt realise about the hole, again check the first pic on feature car page, and the mesh is finished.
Wait til Fast Car do it, then criticise! unless i put it one of the other mags wanting to do it (max power, revs) (and seperately max power.co.uk)
They seemed to like my mesh! ;)

Ian, no offence mate but if you don't tell people what you do how are people supposed to know?
when your asked about your car you just say BAT motorsport liverpool. So what conclusion do you come to?

i can't tell everyone the full history of the car, people should'nt just presume and make untrue statements, that they do not know are true!

you tell me one thing and leave it at that so i can only come to one conclusion

jeees you are always taking the negative stance
