vinyl removing is easy.
get a hair dryer out and warm up the vinyl, the carefully peel it away. Done!!!
you may notice the paint is a slightly different colour underneath though due to fading/re-sprays.

Erm, might just be me, but 225 is a damn wide tyre, ever thought about sellin the ones u got on as part worn, then gettin some 195 or 205 profile?

Vinyl is easy, it just takes time, u will prob find it comes off in tiny bits, which can be annoying, but it is worth it, well chuffed with mine.

How the fook did you not get rubbing before you lowered it???

When I first got my Cav GSi alloys, they were fitted with 205-55-15's and they rubbed like buggery without being lowered, so no wonder 225's rub :O
I sorted it with a nice set of 195-45's.
