novamadman

Personally i would say speedlines but they are very common evern though they still look the dogs bollocks on a nova. I think MIM Raffinos cant be beaten on a nova if you could ever find a set.

Dont think theres any others is there?????

i must admit they do look nice in white, and i do think about changing them from black to white, but i think the black goes well with the white car

Compomotives are my favourite wheels on a nova. Loved my set that was on my sr. Speedlines are horrible imo, never been a fan of them. But at the moment for the price im a really big fan of cav gsi rims, but would love a set of tigra wheels in black :P

I must agree with the razor, I have the new style MO's with my road tyres and cesaro with my slicks. Like the look of them both

Chris

IMO Speedlines are standard fitment

is it just me that thinks speedlines are awfull, they look exactly like some crappy alloys i got with my first car, maybe they are just good because of the name or that they are old school ?? i dunno i guess its down to preference, but i prefer there to be more of a gap in the spokes and as the speedlines go into a big circle in the middle i just think to anyone else they look awfull and cheap, certainly not worth what i seen how much people buy em for (just my opinion like)

Its not that Speedlines are ugly, they're a damn fine wheel, but they Look almost like a STD wheel, a few months back was a grey GSi Nova in Total Vauxhall with Speedlines and it looked Bog STD, even the GTE/SR wheels'd have looked better, That said, they couldn't look any better on some Novas. Confused, you should be.

speedlines look good on nova hence why everyone has them, if you want to different then fucking paint them green. But saying that i do like a nice set of white compomotives to make you feeling your rallying your way to work in the morning.

Errr with you driving it! you will be rallying to work

Well i bought speedlines maily as i wanted some bigger wheels then 15" and not a vaux one,but no bigger then 17" and in et47.5-49 etc as i wanted to get the car to handle right and look good and get it lower without rubbing probs etc,so the speedlines fitted the bill...though i have my eye on some new wheels for the new year.. 8)
but there low on the list of do's...

I'd also like to mention Azev A, alas its a silly wrong offset for the nova though...

That is indeed your opinion, and its all down to personal preferance. But speedlines have never ever looked cheap. They are a classy, classic design, and give nova's a classy look.

I also love comp mo's, Softstars (16") and Mim Raffinos

I had them on my car to with 205/50s and the fuckers kept rubbing on the passenger side, and 205/45's on the speedlines didn't and on the Comps they dont eiter.

I must be one of the few who doesn't like the Cavalier GSi rims!
Mim Raffinos are a lovely rim, but IMO they are just that bit too big on a Nova, they end up taking over from the car.
I think that Softstars and Speedlines are the 2 nicest rims, but the Cesaros do run them close!

I quite like the Megastar, but in 17x7.0 smallest size would be a real squeeze on a nova...

Compomotive are one of the only companies that will make whichever size suits your spec with relative ease and not rip you off. They just drill the blanks.
