This opel manta had a 4.0l straight six :D

Anyway after all that i think i shall be going for a mk2 escort with my engine in ect..., a opel manta A series with my engine an wheels ect.. or a ford cortina mk1 - mk3

looks good would have been a laugh to go to that! some mean cars there mate the first picture the green opel manta looks sweet so did the escort silly bonnet vent though but usefull lol :lol: also loved the black manta on tb looked nice! :D

corvette sat there for about 2mins before going lol, an i think the purple one did a quicker time

Are you sure that is a manta it looks like a Ascona. Good pictures would love to have a a car like that.

yes i know what a manta looks like, plus it had a big badge on the back saying manta which tells 1 of two things. Either its a manta or the owner is very stupid lol

this is what the ascona's look like, they are both opels so im guessing the different names mean they are different cars, but i know what you mean

I do like that Cortina, you should buy one Phil, but also that car with the V8 and carbs looks good (well the engine does lol). Is it also a Cortina i cant quite tell

yeah i think it was a mk1 cortina, not 100% on that though as i was looking more at the engine. Like i said if i had the money i would have bought it, but i need to start saving now.

Yeah very tempting these cars can be eh? Theres a 1965 Stang near me that wants restoring but he only wants ?2000 for it i was tempted but A) i cant afford it and B) I need to save for my hols

Yes it is me and its deffinately NOT screwed! lol

I was having problems launching at PV, but it was more to do with the tyres though, I was running budget 175 60 14's!!! But yesterday I had some sticky collways on, and boy did it make a difference! .5 off of the previous best on the current spec ;)

The corvette stingray is my mates, it is actually quicker than the purple beast with the LET,

He ran a 11.1 on saturday and has done a 10.9, he still has another 300shot of gas to goand the axle and diff are standard so he cannot use his transbrake which anyone that knows about his type of gearbox will know that will make loads of difference and more thanm likely run into the 9's once the car is fully completed.

He wants to be running consitant 10's this year before he takes it off the road for the new rear setup etc..

Sadly on sunday he had a nitrous leak and a few fuelling problems which is why it stalled on the line but expect to see it back soon running some 10's :)

Did anyone get any pics of Vic (his mate) with the Mustang that ran a 10.1 ! I sadly missed him run but I think thats a PB for him, top stuff
