bought some quad exhausts the other day and need to remove the spare wheel well, seems simple enuf to do, (just cut a square section out and weld a flat one back in) but i just wondered if anybody had any advice or tips before i do it?
I just took a grinder to mine and then got a sheet wielded back in. Im not sure on the thickness of the metal sheet I used though.
I always put a brace bar in between the rear chassis legs
be carefull not to weaken the seat belt mounts if you use the ones in the floor for harness attachments. i had to weld an extra brace in when i discovered that issue lol
also id recomend X bracing between the chassis rails to be sure it wont fold/flex.

yeh thats it mate, how is it done, are they special harnesses as mine just meet at one point and fasten to a seatbelt mount but i wanted it like yours?
one point harness? how the feck does that work lol or is it a 3 point and your disregarding the 2 side mounts.
there are different types of harness mount, ie bolt in, hook and eye bolt and then there is those that go round the cage. although you can usually remove the mounts fo the back parts and wrap them round the cage.

i ment the back piece meets and mounts at one point (three point) so its a case of getting some new harnesses?
