Any opinions on Mangoletsi ?i know they did alot of tuning parts on special edition Alfa's... also it does have some rough bits on either side of the port (can see the black lines on the photo) which i'm not overly impressed by.

it hasn't cost me anything yet anyway...

The carbs in the background hopefully will be getting chromed/sprayed next week, but i'm still awaiting prices for that.

All the Machining work was due to be done on the block next week, but i've scrapped the block. I'm in-search of something a little less knackered

headwork is going to be done next week, just some porting/polishing. I've got the complete AST2 kit now as well...

as soon as i can get my hands on another E16SE i'l beable to start building it all up ! yey

why did u not get the block worked as you wanted?

Leave them rough, if you smooth them you'll make it worse.
It's designed rough as it helps to mix the fuel and air.

nooo, i know the roughness helps roll the air and keep the fuel in suspension, but this is quite a rough lip down each side of the port.

I will be paying a fair amount of money for it, and it's just not what i wanted to see.

I was going to get alot of work done on the bottom end , but if i can find a better condition one that just needs honing, i'l scrap the idea of getting it rebored with new pistons. It'l still have some lightening and balancing, ARP bolts e.t.c

Riggy what condition is your GSi lump in ?
