If you got a 1.3SR and added a pair of twin weber carbs, how much would the power be, with no other mods only filter and a Peco backbox...Standard i know they are 75bhp, add the carbs - would that make it around 85bhp or more/or less....
Also, what would they do to a 1.2L model which has around 60bhp as standard.
A speedy reply if possible guys and gals, thanks.

Yeah, the 1.2 one is the main one im interested in....what would that be after the fitting? As Ive been kindly informed earlier - its possible to get 100bhp on the 1.3SR.

I'm not sure what BHP figure you're thinking off, Flywheel or wheels?
I've seen a 1.4SR with twin webbers on the rollers and that was reading 104BHP at the wheels, which adds up to about 125BHP at the flywheel. The rollers were reading a little bit high, but they wern't far off.
As for a 1.3 with the mods you said, I'd probably say about 90BHP at the wheels which will be about 110 at the flywheel.
It all depends on the rollers where you get the reading, as they do vary across the country.
Hope this helps, Jim.

My mate's 1.4 SR has been dyno'd at 110bhp at the wheels, but you would kind of expect it if you read the spec list...
Twin 40's, ASW prepped 1.4 engine (Walshy's old one), Blydenstein B+ head, Piper cam... hopefully he'll be at Billing for the PCC National Day.
