Well im out of my unit of 7 years and now at home thought my garage looked big untill i filled it lol it will be fine once everything is tidyed. I can confirm that no matter how much space you have it will get filled up, mostly with stuff you don’t need, and probably that has no great monetary value :)
Looking forward to seeing where this Project goes next. Undoubtedly it looks interesting.....

Hiya mate as phil said its all gone now as i needed to sort alot of things out non car related as im sure you will understand ,but as phil says i do have a new project being made as we speak in spain or atleast 1 piece of the puzzle im not sure people would like a non nova thread on here

With the nova, did you feel it was always going to be a compromise making the other chassis fit the nova? Hence, this time something purposefully built to the shell? Or?

I get it. I’m putting nissan 200sx running gear into a nova saloon body. I started in 2013 with a simple main hoop and a to b pillar bars and started building the spaceframe from there. Work halted around 2017 and last year restarted, except now I’m going through it back to front redesigning it all. So many times I thought to myself that it would probably be easier to start again! I’m persisting for now.

Did you get suspension arms as well as the main spaceframe?

Nice [emoji108]The only metal part of the body is what you see in previous pics the rest is all fiberglass .doors,bonnet,boot,rear quaters,front wings,bumpers ,it will have full polycarb windows aswell so im hoping the final weight will be no more than 500kg

So the archs need making wider to cover the wheels,"oh the joys" this car is a baptisim of fire never fiberglassed in my life . I also finished making the diffuser and the flat floor. What thickness alu sheet did you use for the floor?Cheers simps ,yours is gonna be mental. I used 1.2mm alloy sheet for the floor and diffuser and ill be using ply for the front splitter if its good enough for touring cars its good enough for me lol

I came across a youtube vid from a race shop and I?m sure they said used 6mm alu for their floor! Seemed excessive to me, but made me wonder what kind of forces it may be under??

1.2 to 1.5 aluminium is usually used for the floor skins but with extra bracing where you might stand to get in thats what they usualy use in all the drag cars i have looked

What geo settings have you gone with?
How far off the floor are you running? I?ve read somewhere that flat floors only start working once lower than 70-80mm from the ground?? [emoji2369]
Front: 2mm out
Rear: 2mm in thats for tracking i think we are 2 degrees of camber not 100% sure as my mate was teaching me while i was spannering for him lol

What a thread. Not sure how I have missed this, the nova was good, then better and now the current build is just awesome. Great work �� as an aside, your old half metal wide arch front wings are currently in my garage awaiting being used again, knew I recognised them as the thread went on and then the decals appeared and confirmed
