how do i go about taxing a new (second hand) car..???

im picking up a new car tomorrow. do i get the current owner to send me the logbook details so i can tax it in the morning or can i do it on my phone when i get there using the new keeper detail part...? :tard: last time i bought a car the tax just carried on to the new owner

u tax it with the number on the green slip, u can do it now or when u pick it up
