i wont give up even if there are 30 pages saying bump. i just think its unfair how some people have exessive amounts of one type of part they will never use because there car dosnt do 1k miles a year and wont part with anything

Because they have become so sort after due to the sport becoming popular, people who have a set are more kean to keep hold of them as they believe they will go up in price. Even material is like gold dust.

Tempting me to part with mine.
Can you get material close to the brown check stuff? If so, it would be possible to reupholster SR or GTE ones so they would be pretty close?
If you do find some material, let me know so I can do the same lol

you could, ive found a couple of pairs of manta front daytona recaros so i might sacrafice the pair that have fecked bolsters
I sold a full brown interior with them seats few years back for £500
for reference to the op i was offered more than that for my full daytona check interior and turned it down. that was for everything though, seats, doorcards, parcel shelf, dash, radio n heater blanks, clocks, carpets, steering wheel, cowling, a/b/c pillar trims, roof lining, seatbelts etc absolutely everything you would need for a bare shell. i'm keeping it for my next project but i've had a few folk try convince me to sell. to be honest i dont have a clue what its worth and wouldnt sell anyway but just shows people are willing to pay big money for them
i'd take just the seats for £300-£500 condition dependant,
they are the best looking seat to put in a nova retro !
shame my set caught fire i will replace them one of these day no matter of cost

Most sets were probably skipped in favour of mk2 facelifts and GSI trim during the late 1990s.
There was an interior on Gumtree with bolster issues for £600 a few months ago - not sure if its still on there

This is the truth, in 1996 I could not give away my Daytona check interior, so the full lot went in the bin along with the rest of the 1.3SR, everyone wanted GTE or GSI stuff,

I skipped loads of the stuff when I stripped SRs to build my rally car and collect usuable parts for it.
Nobody had the faintest interest in brown stuff, and even mk1 grey stuff you struggled to give away. However, a mk2 SR interior in blue was worth silly money especially without bolster wear.
Snow ploughs were binned too. Sad I know.

if i had of known or even thought that this stuff would be sought after i would of filled my mums and grand parents lofts, spare rooms, cellers and a couple of lockups with the stuff and retired early on selling the majority of it lol
