I drive about Aberdeen all the time (in a Nova) and for years I have never seen another Nova on the road, you have better eyesight than me.

The last one I saw was at hazlehead and was a bright pink mk2, two guys in it.

Long time viewing, but possibly my first post here. I see Nova's on the road, as we all do, but only tend to get excited about them if they are half decent.

Saw this on the road a few months back, kept it to myself for a while as I had pulled it over and had quite a lengthy chat with the owner. We exchanged details and agreed that it would be mine for a fair price when his doctor told him to surrender his license. Its been 3 or 4 months now though so hope is fading.

He bought it new, and has it serviced every 4 months at the main dealer. Its an absolute cracker, on 100k, but not showing it.

Saw this today in Tesco car park, had a poke around and decided I wanted it.

Left a note on it, worded as they always are. "if this car either is.... or could be for sale please call Craig on 07....", but then after my shopping I spotted from a mile away that the boot was open so got myself over there quick.

Chatted to the elderly couple, who agreed that no power steering was taking its toll, and persuaded them to paperclip my note to the log book, as I always do.

Saw it again on the road a few hours later, looks great.

There's been times iv seen elderly people driving old Vauxhalls id like to of snatched off them but never followed them home for a chat, something I may do next time.

Even so, 'valuable'probably means no more than a few hundred quid, as you usually have only the weigh bridge or trade-in price to better, when they do decide to sell.

The blue nova sr above was doing the limit is in a 30mph zone lost control and went across a grass verge into oncoming traffic (40mph zone) and was mT boned by a x5.
I think the nova driver is in a wheelchair.
It happened on the duel carriage way outside my work.

You see the driver of the blue sr nova sat outside his house just looking at the road he crashed on (which is outside his front door) in his wheel chair. He has a big motor bike and a BMW 1 series which are just parked up now n

I'm not sure. I only know him fro when I had my white itb nova and he had a look at it once. I noticed his had been parked up for a long time. Then I went away for my honeymoon and when I came back his car was off the drive. I just thought he had sold it then somebody at work told me about a crash that happened nearly outside works front door. As they knew I'm into novas they said about it so I looked it up on our local paper.
If I get chance I will ask about and find out weather he is or not. He's been in a wheelchair since July and I couldn't see any casts on his legs so doesn't look to good.

They were not Jetta lamps iirc, I think they were Rallye specific as they were slimmer and had vents under them that continued accross under the grille. Jetta lamps were deeper.

In hafan marina. I actually spoke to him for a few seconds last year, as it was on a trailer just outside of the office one night. I work security, so they probably thought i was checking up on them etc, but i wasn't, i was interested in the car lol
Soon as I saw it pass my office window I was like....haaaaaa a NOVA!!!! Then kinda left the office in under 20s to have a nose lol
Ive not long bought a J reg SRI and its white also!!! I have been using it to drive to work everyday since ive had it, so you will probably see it parked up in your area, as your in pwllheli also ye :) :)

Last year I posted up the pictures of the standard 1 owner GTE that I followed. After approaching the driver and having a lengthy chat I left my details and crossed my fingers.

Since then I sort of wondered if he had just nodded politely, but on Friday I was in the area and saw it parked on a driveway. Parked up and had a nose to see if it was taxed, then knocked the door.

Ended up in the house with the pair of pensioners chatting again, really nice people. The old boy went to the cupboard and pulled out the V5 with my details paper-clipped to it, and said that this summer he has to take another test which he's not going to bother with, so hopefully it will be mine soon.

Apparently people approach him daily, weather it be Oval racers, Scrap merchants or Enthusiasts, but he only ever kept my details, which was good to hear.

The Hella grill is gone, he has re-fitted the original due to persistent blown bulbs, and he has clipped the mirror, but other than that its still straight and tidy.

Ended up in the house with the pair of pensioners chatting again, really nice people. The old boy went to the cupboard and pulled out the V5 with my details paper-clipped to it, and said that this summer he has to take another test which he's not going to bother with, so hopefully it will be mine soon.

Apparently people approach him daily, weather it be Oval racers, Scrap merchants or Enthusiasts, but he only ever kept my details, which was good to hear.

Awesome story, I love it when this happens. It's pretty much how I got my brown saloon. :) he phoned me up about 8 months after originally talking to him. I was at his house for a good 3 hours at least finding old MOT's and other paperwork from all over his house on bookshelves and drawers etc. top guy.

Yet some people want stupid money for crap k reg mot fail I went to look at was well over 350 more than it was worth so I bailed

2 days later got a call from my mate at the scrap yard and went and picked the little sucker up from him as they scraped it lol still had time on it to re test for free and all for less than half what I offered in the first place

Spotted a white GSi yesterday afternoon, on a backroad between Newport and Selby, think it was an H plate, with black wheels, looked properly tidy, but the nearside headlight was pointing skyward so couldnt see the reg/many details lol
