this is my first conversion what do i do with the wires that went to the original coil

Is it a gte?

Use the wires from the mutiplug located behind/around the brake master cylinder/servo area for you 12v ignition etc, shouldnt need to use ones around the coil...

i no they are not used i just wanted to no if they get cut out or just taped up mine is the 1L loom but has had the resistor taken out and my engine loom is a very early xe loom

ah right. Cut them out then. I believe the 12v ignition feed on the 1ltr loom give insufficent current so take that from a better source.

I usede black and purple from the wiper motor.
