That looks quite clean under there, mk2's are normally alot worse
Ronal Turbos are awesome wheels, look good on the C, as you say nightmare to fit on a nova tho :( lol
I have had such a slating for the ronal turbos you wouldn't believe.
Personally i dont particularly like the corsa its just a runabout and i thought it would sell well with the ronals and they were v cheap :)
And as for the nova i was well shocked, lets hope the rest isnt too bad lol

1.2 carbed unbelievably poverty spec, 70k, complety standard, 12 months ticket and 6 months test... £450 :)

so whats happening with apu now then?
Apu is still going to be Xe'd and is going to be my fast road/track car. The mk1 is just my roundabout for uni :)

The mk1 is being lowered 60 mm Sr bumpers, grill and spoiler. The engines staying standard and more importantly the interior is being untouched ( bar a 3 spoke wheel as the boat steering wheel doesn't float my boat)
That mk1 looks a good buy for £450, where'd you find that to ?
Mk2 engine bay looks like in needs a MEGA clean tho lol

Connor quick word of advice, if i was you i would look into a cheep shock/spring combination, even if it's second hand and me personally i wouldn't go lower then 40mm, as you will have issues with camber and kill tyres all the time, and if your going 60mm you will need some shocks as well mate, don't bodge, just do it cheep, i bought billy b2's for £90 and some 40mm springs for £20 for the yellow mk1, handles ace! and still clears car park curbs with front valance etc..
these to me look dam good for the money, who knows they actually might be a good make, maybe message the seller, off him £100 for them?

Scott the 60 mm is purely for looks tbh, its not going to be driven fast or owt
And edd the car popped up on eBay and it was a local car parked about a minutes drive from my work, so on my lunch break I popped down to check it was still in ok nick and it was so I bought it on my phone lol
And yea the mk2 bay is in desperate need of cleaning and sorting out, it'll gimmi something to do though lol

But in all seriousness I gotta save up for.gaz's and a Xe plus a lot of other bits for Apu, this is just recycling parts from it lol
Mine currently handles a bit shocking as I still need to sort the tracking (finally found somewhere that can do it though, just gotta get it in there when I work 8-6 monday to saturday, err... lol ) and its dropped fairly far... but it's still perfectly fine as a daily runner tbh.
Apu I had lowered 60 mm for 15 months with my comps on and had no probs with it, no scrubbing etc even 5's up, did handle like a dog though lol
Well today i painted up my new bumpers and half the mk1 today, pictures definately do it justice and it will be redone when i cba lol

Just gotta sort the bumper brackets out, get a sr rear bumper and satin black that along with the boot grab handle and finally colour code the mirrors. Oh and sort some wheels out for it and put a nice looking backbox on :)
looks no bad fella. always fancied a mk1 for a daily lol
dashes are crap but everything else is win imo
looks good mate :) so you're MK1 ing apu as well yes :p

I think it would of been better if youd of sprayed all that a dark grey like they come out of the factory though, you not think ?
satin blacks easy to paint though lol, i wanted to but i wanna keep this build cheap as chips, so paying for upol bumper paint is not what i want to do.
I got to redo it so you never know it could be painted properly

If you go to the car shop, those carplan aerosols are 4 quid a tin youll propably need 3 or 4, the colours called Grey-01.
So itll propably cost ya 15-20 quid to do it grey, suppose thats a big big price difference though if you used quid shop aerosols.
Still looks decent anyway keep us updated connor.

Cheers for the advice lewi, always thought bumper coloured paint was really expensive, wish i knew that lol
And i stress this is only a tempory thing but that old front end looks so hideous lol and the bumpers and grill dont owe me anything so its a win win situation
These are my favourite front ends by far
i painted both my gte bumpers with upol & primer, there is enough in the cans to do 2 more & i think it was about £15 all in from our local proper motor factors.....
sweet, will upol when i get chance to paint them again.

Defiantly needs to be a gray mate, black looks ok on a white car, but looks iffy on that, but still going good though mate.
Just found its mexico or mexiko red, quite rare i think?
And when time allows, the lot will be redone with some upol bumper grey :)

I have proof, mk2 centre consoles for.the dash are clearly designed to incorporate McDonald's double cup holder, which is handy, also mk1 dashes give you cancer, according to jack

whoa, i'm glad i cut half of mine out - reduced risk!
mk2 dashes just dont suit the car - boxy and plain on the outside, should be boxy and plain on the inside lol
boxy and plain is abit of an understatement. i just love the fact that someone at vauxhall thought that a red car would suit beige interior and a poo brown dash lol

Blasting and powder coating wheels IMO is the only way to re-furb, painting is gash in comparison..
