the plans are to keep the out side looking like that just tidy it up, completly slamm it on some white cav slabs
288 brakes, and 2.5 v6 under the bonnet

well iv fixed the boot, 180miles with a rattle from the boot area, fitted my cd player, how gay no ignition live lol, had trouble starting this morn, (baxter) when i picked it up, engine was cold, it fired stright up,

had the pan off and adjust everything running GREAT even the tiger popped in and said thats great :thumb:

got to go out and get some prices of leather door cards with white piping

ummm my god iv done a job proper (not finished yet)

the old me would of just filled it with filler and smoothed

but rot and rust choped out, plate welded on, smoothed back,
slight bit of fibre glass to fill the 3mm hole, then a skim on metal body filler stuff,

these little holes have cost me £40 + to mend lol

Mainly due to the fact white paint covers very well, so only goes on thin. Hence why you see rust runs from under window surrounds etc. They will have actually vibrated through the thin layer of paint causing the rust to start so early etc.

im just going to stick with tried and tested and go the boring route now lol


im looking £400 for suspesion, £500-600 for engine, £1k for paint, then have all the insides done another £2K ish, then sorted lol

iv got all the crazy out of me, but its begging for a v6, but i just cant be arsed, XE or LET, but the LET is a space factor, i dont want a IC hanging out the front or a charge cooler setup lol

its far from mint, the rear arches have been ground down, loads of external rust, a cow bashed wing/bonnet, going rusty (rat) and a door mirror cover missing lol

fixed the ICV problem, fixed the nasty vibrate/grinding noise turned out the cam belt was not tight enough, and fitted my 15's :)
