Yeah, sorry didn't say. Matt satin black. A lot better than the horrible brown/cream coloured dash etc that was in before :) don't get me wrong, I love a bit of horrid retro but I didn't have anything to match with it :(
The workman ship on this nova is second to none keep it up

Nice always fancied a black mk1 dash, do you think the finish will be hard wearing?

I can't see why not mate. The guy who I spoke to about this done his dads around 3 years ago iirc. Still fine supposedly. If its any help to you mine fell of the picnic table as I was taking a picture of it tonight, not a scratch lol

Couldnt resist a trial fit of the dash tonight to see what it looked like. Never screwed or bolted anything its all just sat in, so if it looks wonky thats why lol

Looking in from the front, black dash looks much better imo.

Last weekend i fitted the rear part of the cage! Absolute nightmare. Everthing out again. seat rails in the way. Rachet straps etc the nice fresh cage paint has scratches in in now :(
One harness in and waiting for the seats, will fit the other today. Also had to fit a boot net to stop things rolling about the rear on the false floor.

Rest of the cage is now in, not bolted up yet. Was stupidly tight, to the point i didnt think it would fit. Has anyone else ever had this with a safety devices cage?

Also tried the seat in again to see if it clears the door bar, fits fine.

Picture of the new seat covers fitted to the seat. Its not 100% finished yet, still have to tweak the creases out here and there! Im NO upholsterer lol
Big thanks to Karisma for the seats covers, the quality of the stitching etc is superb. Top job :)

Not a hope mate :(
Have too much on this month now. I reason I took it off the road was to address all the stuff I skipped last time, rose jointed linkage, inlet, flywheel braided lines, cage etc can't rush it again or it will never get done to a standard I'm happy with :)

Gutting as I enjoyed your build :(
Will the person who bought it still be on here with it then?
I hope to keep the build thread going for this already tastefully built car.

Im pretty certain it's in good hands. Hopefully you'll make the trips I never got to :) in the 10 years I've owned it , it hasn't done very much. I'm actually looking forward to seeing pictures of it out and about.
One day I'll have another.
