half cage is quite heavy
and the 1 off spoiler is a tonne lol

but ill get it waighted at Thompsons scrapp yard just for all you statos lol

they are waxoyilng her, welding the missing stregnthening plates on it, fitting the washer set up, re painting the bonnet, new door hinge pins and a hole for the n/s door loom

various other jobs can be done

then the loom which should be finished tonight will be fitted on treturn to my home

then MOT and refit the trim

had a bit of a pop at the leccy as im in a pis poor mood today, all things with my ex and the house i must be on my period

if its not finished at xmas it will be sold or broken

VIN tag back on, sourced the leak in the tailgate i think, door insides painted, ging to put new CV boots on they are perishing, front arches have been fettled from going a bit wierd after the big freeze

had more probs with the oil cooler hoses today, not only was one end incorrect, having come to re try to fit them tonight i found the banjo bolts for the sandwich plate SUPPLIED BY THE LOCAL DEALER are wrong and are way too small, makin the banjo adaptoe on my hoses incorrect, hopefully tommorow will solve this and a nother succesfull

Fitted the fitter didn't do a good job with the lining its a bit lumpy an my side i did is spot on, and like a fool i slipped with a blade but n cut it too much much. Lucky for me i found the cav/calibre boot light trim was perfect for a get out of jail free. Card

last month i manage to build up my rear disc beam axle with all the new parts ive had for hhmmmmmmmm 6 years minimum, but its going on the car to be tested regards the rears locking up, maybe for re sale

axle was shot blasted and painted along with the calipers, pads are mintex and discs are brembo

fitted the new air filter and pipe

and after 2 years nearly due to the house renovation got the Evo MOT'd but after a 1000 miles im under the impression some rod had broken between the transfer box and main diff

GOOD NEWS

Mid week last week i took my nova to my own house on my pals recovery truck, it was filled up with petrol enroute to my house

its now securely locked in my warm garage and im putting some interier in on the weekend hopefully but the bus comes calling again on monday......Vampire Weekend whoever they are

its book in at the garage in december for timing belt, CV boots , oil an filter, coolant , gearlinkage setting up.......wait for it........MOT and ill try and get it to PVS in 2014 if not me my wondeful GF will bring it which is ok she can drive, and has bigger boobs than me

ill get some pics up on the recovery truck and look for updates in dec time

im excited about it again and just driving it off my parents drive put such a smile on my face, all be it sat on a tool box lmao

Hey guys.....small update

Ive given myself a deadline to finish the car by end of 2014 or im breaking it

The cara been on a go slow since the last mad progeess in 09 due to me gettin a house and full renovation. ...but all the car and l all the bits are at my new house...car is being taken to the garage to get a few mechanic jobs and MOT...such as new timing belt. .the 3rd since 2004 lmao, new oil n filter....proper coolant and a flush....CV Boots changed as the new ones on have now perished....d shafts will be shortened to allow speedline c caps to fit

Then ill be puttin the trim in....that easier said than done aa its thicker than oem....may have a re think. ..flock..or CF paneling

Graeme ive sent those speaker pods you sold me to be CF skimmed as I want some door speaker s

Ive also sent Don my spare mirrors to trim the black in CF...also a factory rear wiper arm

Im also toying with the idea of CF triming the rear window surrounds ro blens with the rest so to speak


I willl hopefully insure the car april to sept only then she will live in mmuy nice dry heated garage

Finally I treated her to a sspare set of speedlines and softstars which will most likely be done in gunmetal grey

Then she will be detailed and g technic C1 coated

I cant wait..
