Camshaft question!

As mc has described in his tuning threads, a GSI cam will fit into a 1.2/1.4 head, so, what if some1 was to fit a fast road cam from a GSIinto a 1.2/1.4 head? would the lift and duration be increased? iv had a chat to Cambridge bout this, just thought it'd b interesting to see what comes of it!

u need to think what you want from your cam really

good power band across the rev range, low end torque, or MAX bhp.

this is all dependant on the duration of the cam and the "lumpiness" it runs at idle - dso i have gathered over recent months.

i will see in Jan wether or not i made the right choice of cam!
