Yes! It's like having random peoples phone numbers in your phone and contacting them all the time otherwise, seems weird to me, must be getting old :(

But this is a public forum, like having a chat with someone at a car show, whereas a one-to-one chat on msn seems a bit personal :confused:

It was more the fact that people were saying 'random chicks' which made me think that they were completely random, i.e not contacts from a forum.

I have numbers in my phone (actually most of them are people on here) who I've contacted once or twice, but held onto the number just in case I need it again, or they get back in touch for whatever reason.

I did? Hm. I purged my MSN a few months back and deleted a shedload of contacts, basically anyone who I'd not spoken to in ~6 months, I guess yours got caught up in that...
