valve stem oil seal help!!

have removed one valve from my gm c20xe head and im f*cked if i know how to get oil seal out, theres a metal cap thing round it but cant see how it comes off:confused: any help would be greatly appreciated as i want to get engine put back together asap.

If youve removed the valve spring/seat/cap/, then the seal just carefullly pulls off with thin nosed pliers

it fell to bits, still parts left in :-(

seat that the valve spring sits on is still in, thats the ''metal cap thingy'' how does that come out?

managed, and bottom seat doesnt come out, just as you said adam pulled out was just stiff, cheers
