e16se idling too fast

Hi Guys
I've just finished the 1600 conversion on my nova and its running fine except it idles at 1500 Rpm. is there any way that this can be turned down? i've done a quick search but didn't come up with much.

Had a look in Haynes for adjusting the idle speed?

Sticky idle control valve? its the small throttle body. Whip it out and give it a clean with some carb cleaner.

I don't have a haynes manual.I think its about time i stop bein tight and bought 1 lol

If it does turn out to be a faulty Idle Control Valve, i have 3 spare here lol

I had the same issue with mine, turned out to be the aforementioned.

I removed my broken ICV and it's fine without.

i think i've sorted it there's a screw on the inlet manifold,i turned that n it's slowed it right down.:thumb:
